Adrianne Rodgers started dancing at the age of three and haven’t stopped since. I competed throughout junior high and high school and continued studying dance on scholarship at Hofstra University. Throughout my dance training I also was a competitive gymnast, and a working actor. I was a commercial kid, booking jobs for “Starburst” “Heinz Ketchup” “Jello” “Burger King” “AT&T” and “Playtex Tampons” to name a few. I was a recurring prankster on “Candid Camera” with Dom Delouis and booked my first CBS pilot  “Splitting the Difference “ at age 12. It was super fun appearing on “One Life to Live” “Guiding Light” and the series finale of “The Sopranos”. I’ve been fortunate enough to work under the direction of Judd Apatow, Hinton Battle, Steven Brill, David Chase, Terry Hughes, Jolea Maffei, Cathy McCann, and Val Suarez. After I graduated with a BA in dance, I moved to Queens New York to continue pursuing my love of acting, dancing and choreography. I’ve appeared in music videos for Britney Spears, and choreographed for the band Jacks Mannequin and performing artist Farrad.  I’ve also found great joy in teaching, and have been able to share my love of dance at countless after school programs, senior centers, and competition studios.

After life took its next big turn, I started Precision Plus Dance Ensemble in my best friends memory on September 7, 2014. The company performed at Dancers Responding to Aids, Stars of Tomorrow...Giving Back Today. In October of 2014, my roommate, fashion photographer and filmmaker, Marko Krunic and I were fiscally sponsored by Dance Films Association to make a documentary film about how movement helped me keep going after such a great loss. “In My Life” is currently in production, forever evolving, and we look forward to a 2017 release.

I want to encourage all of you beautiful dancers to hold onto these special moments that we’re experiencing through friendship, performance and our mutual love of dance. As Jose Limon once said “Dance is a moment and then it is finished.” Take a deep breath, look around and embrace all of these beautiful moments!
